Showdown import and export in one place

Pokemon Showdown is excellent for battle testing, but a paste does not tell you whether the same six make sense for a story-game dex. MonTeams connects those steps: paste the set text, choose a supported game, and read the defensive weakness and STAB coverage boards beside the party.

The importer accepts up to six sets. It matches species names, keeps each set's item, ability, moves, EVs, IVs, nature, Tera Type, and shiny flag, then lets you save the draft locally or export it again as Showdown text.

Paste a full six-set export in the tool. Unknown species are reported instead of silently becoming a different Pokemon.

What the team board checks

Game-aware availability: select Scarlet & Violet, FireRed, Emerald, Platinum, or another supported mode so the dex list stays relevant.
Defense balance: see repeated weaknesses, resistances, and immunities across the six selected species.
Type coverage: see how many team members add STAB reach against each defending type.
Portable set text: save on this device or export back to a format that Showdown understands.

This is a type-coverage companion for a Showdown draft, not a replacement for Showdown's format legality, live usage, damage calculation, or battle simulator. The page says what it checks so a search for a competitive Pokemon team builder lands on an honest workflow.

How to use the Showdown team builder

Open the importer and paste your team export.
Import the six matching Pokemon, then choose the game mode you are planning around.
Fix the largest repeated weakness, review STAB gaps, and export or save the revised draft.

No. The current board checks game-specific type coverage and shared weaknesses. Use a battle simulator or damage calculator for legality, usage data, and damage rolls.
